M. Etienne Web Designs LLC intends to make its approved website usable by a broad audience. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is a design and testing target, not a current claim of verified conformance or legal certification.
Accessibility commitment
The website should support equitable access to information, portfolio content, contact methods, and service inquiries. Accessibility is an ongoing design, content, engineering, testing, and maintenance responsibility.
Design and engineering target
The implementation uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a design and testing target. This statement is not a current claim of verified conformance, certification, or complete accessibility.
Reviewed features
Source-level review identified the following features. They reduce barriers but do not establish full conformance.
- skip navigation and semantic landmarks;
- keyboard-operable links, controls, forms, and mobile navigation;
- visible focus treatments;
- labels and programmatic error associations for forms;
- status messaging for submission outcomes;
- meaningful alternative text for approved images;
- reduced-motion rules;
- responsive layouts and mobile controls;
- heading structure; and
- live result-count messaging in the portfolio filter.
Testing and maintenance
Ongoing accessibility review includes:
- keyboard-only navigation across all routes and common viewport widths;
- visible-focus and focus-order review;
- VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS;
- NVDA with a supported Windows browser;
- form validation, error recovery, and success messages;
- 200% zoom and 400% reflow;
- text-spacing overrides;
- forced-colors and high-contrast behavior;
- color-contrast measurements for final content and states;
- image descriptions and reading order against final assets;
- mobile orientation and touch-target review;
- reduced-motion behavior;
- automated axe or equivalent scanning, followed by manual review; and
- authentication and administration workflows available to authorized users.
Known limitations
- The deployed Production website has not received a complete assistive-technology and device matrix review.
- External client sites, App Store pages, Google Play pages, and provider authentication screens are independently controlled.
- New analytics, embeds, payments, scheduling, media, or third-party widgets would require another review.
- The business has not promised a universal remediation timetable; priority depends on severity, available alternatives, complexity, and applicable requirements.
Reporting a barrier
Visitors should be able to report an accessibility barrier by emailing info@metiennewebdesigns.com. A useful report may include the page, task being attempted, barrier, browser or device, assistive technology if relevant, and preferred contact method. Visitors should not be required to disclose a disability or unnecessary sensitive information.
Response process
The business will acknowledge reports as operationally feasible, investigate the barrier, offer an accessible alternative when feasible, prioritize remediation based on impact and complexity, communicate material status, and preserve appropriate records. No fixed response or remediation deadline is promised.
Third-party content
The business should make reasonable efforts to choose accessible vendors and provide accessible alternatives where feasible, but it cannot represent that independently operated platforms conform to a particular standard without evidence.
Review and updates
Record the statement's effective date, audit scope, tester, tools, devices, assistive technology, findings, remediation commit, unresolved exceptions, and approval. Review after material design, content, vendor, or functionality changes.
